Keith Bertoluzzi

Keith Bertoluzzi, alto saxophone, lives with his wife Mary Jean in Portersville, Pennsylvania. He is a native of the region, hailing from the East McKeesport area.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Duquesne University and went on to a full career teaching music. He has since retired and continues to enjoy visits from his six children, fifteen grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren at the home which he and his wife built themselves.

Keith spent eleven years as the lead alto for the famed Holiday House Show Band and has played with the Jimmy Dorsey Band, Benny Goodman Band, Nelson Riddle Band, Pittsburgh Symphony Pops as well as a guest artist with the Pittsburgh Saxophone Quartet.

He has worked with many noted artists including Manhatten Transfer, Mel Torme, Vic Damone, Johnny Mathis, Jerry Lewis show, Steve Lawrance, Eddie Gorme as well as playing in the Benedum Center’s production of “Damn Yankee”.

Keith served as a judge during the recent 2007 National Saxophone Competition, having previously won the state championship for saxophone 3-years straight.

He plays a Mark VI alto sax, Antigua soprano sax, Selmer Centered Tone clarinet and an Artley flute. He joined Trinity during Spring of 2005.
